We regret to inform you that we are unable to receive applications for the EMPOW3R Program at this time. We have received an exceptionally high number of applications this year, and as a result, our capacity has been reached. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to accept additional applications at this time.
We will revisit existing submissions in January 2026, however we highly encourage you to pursue other employment training pathways.
We understand that this may be disappointing news and want to assure you that our decision is based solely on the high number of submissions for application. We encourage you to explore ECEA pathways through WorkBC.

EMPOW3R Eligibility Requirements
- Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents, Protected Persons, & Work Permit Holders
- Resident of BC
- Self-identify as someone who has experienced or continue to experience violence, abuse, and/or trauma
- Unemployed or underemployed
- Not registered in a full-time study program
- English language skills (LINC 7 required)
- Basic computer skills require
